As we drove through Mother Teresa’s gates in Mt Ridley, Mark and I did a double take at the absolutely beautiful, lush and immaculate grounds. The best way to describe them is a cross between a golf course and Pt Leo Estate Sculpture Park. Truly stunning, with the heritage Olrig homestead and the iconic Moreton Bay tree standing proudly at the heart of it all.
We knew it was going to be a special day from the moment we arrived.
It was so nice reconnecting with Principal Jess Davies, who we worked with at Resurrection Primary School Kings Park many moons ago. Jess and Heath took us around the school and worked closely with us to capture some stunning photography.
Every image was shot with intention. These photos will be used across the school’s website and prospectus, helping to tell their story and showcase their incredible environment to prospective families.

Seeing the photos from Mother Teresa Mount Ridley and witnessing that sense of community and growth is truly inspiring, especially as I navigate the intensive rigors of my current PhD research. Balancing my doctoral studies with a part-time role at last minute assignments has given me a front-row seat to the modern student experience, where academic expectations often clash with overwhelming deadlines and the need for absolute precision; having suffered through many high-stress hustles and sleepless nights during my own college days, I am now incredibly conscious of the mental toll that an unmanaged workload can take on one’s stability.
